We the People

We the People

A group of concerned citizens in Ellis County have formed a new group called “We the People of Texas in Ellis County“.  They are in the early stages of their organization.  It looks like they have a head of steam.  Here is a video that Joey Dauben kindly shared with EllisCountyEvents.com.

  1. Noel Coward says:

I suppose I need to attend your group,

Her is a letter I wrote to kay baily , Our so called senator after her vote on HR 1388, of course I got no answer

    Hon. Senator Hutchison

I am not just disappointed by your vote on resolution 1388 “The GIVE Act.’ But damned Appalled by your vote. It must be repealed NOW.

I voted for you along with my entire family ever time you have ran,, but now you have betrayed you office and your constitutional oath to the US and the State of Texas,
Forget about that Governor run you want to do, that’s out the window.
Shockingly, But not surprising you did not read it or just did not understand it. The GIVE legislation resolution 1388 also contains language that will completely demolish the 1st amendment.

The 12th amendment to the act itself states, “Amendment to prohibit organizations from attempting to influence legislation; organize or engage in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes; and assist, promote, or deter union organizing.” What were you thinking?
The people associated through service under the GIVE Act are considered volunteers, still free citizens, yet it will be unlawful for them to take part in any protests against any legislation. This is as close to a sedition act, a violation of 1st Amendment rights, as has been proposed in recent history. A basic right as a part of our natural, inalienable rights, is to resist government. Our founders not only knew it was a right but it was a responsibility. This legislation breaks that down significantly.

Fears about Osama’s plans to create involuntary servitude and domestic spy squads were first stoked in July 2008, when Obama told a rally in Colorado Springs, “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that is just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.” (You just gave him a new Red Guard, China should applaud.)

The passage of such shocking legislation with barely a whimper from political activist groups goes to show how well the corporate media has performed in camouflaging the legislation with flowery characterizations of helpful volunteerism, America is the most freely volunteering country on earth, Well if the Government now has that sewed up why would anyone give anything after your National enslavement bill passed. In reality the bill creates the pretext for mandatory national service and the creation of a multi-million man domestic civil defense unit who will be tasked with spying on their fellow Americans under the justification of protecting the country from terrorism. You should have just re instituted the draft, at least the military knows what they are doing and actually protects the country.

And to let you know that everyone I know in our state knows, the Blame game is really a cover up going on in Washington,

Because without question, all members of the House and Senate are the Guilty parties along with the Supreme Court. Including yourself, for this whole damn economic mess, because ya’ll let it happen for years and you could have stopped it. And we all know it. YES WE KNOW WHO IS TO BLAME.

By the way did you vet Obama when the vote was taken to approve the election, just a curious question? I know, Not your job either!

I have voted for you every time you ran and My Uncle Jimmie Coward was Republican Chairman in Ellis County for a few years, if he was Alive he would be loosing his mind right now.

Most of the 1800+ resolutions I have seen coming through Congress are Unlawful or Unconstitutional or just to damn liberal for anyone.

Senator would you please switch parties now and stop the lie.

And stop sending me the Texans for Kay Literature or I’ll start a Blog on Texans that don’t like Kay and we are republican.

P.S., I’ll use your voting Record to start it with

    Noel Coward
